RS 232 Splitters

RS232 splitter is designed to accept data from a single DCE channel and giving out the same data in 4 multiple channels independently. This is a multi-stream equipment and is useful for splitting data ported at the RS 232 port into multiple identical data channels. Further data can be fed to DCE terminal from any one of the two input ports, which can be selected manually or by a PC. This micro controller based system works in different modes like Manual, Program, Independent and Replay modes. This unit is also having an option for playback i.e. one of the four output channels can be configured as DTE and data can be played back on the remaining channels. The unit performs switching at very high speed so that no data will be lost in the transition period. Further channels isolation has been provided in the system.
